The history of this small town is closely connected with the achievements of aviation and space industry. To modernize its center, we revised the existing zones and created new, connected points of interest for residents and tourists. We have used non-standard receptions to make the center modern and unique.
To avoid continuous paving, the space of the square is divided by a fountain. Wavy shape of the fountain allows to cover more area with water. On the memorial alley of the creators of aviation, we have put a modular information shop. In addition to its main function, it tells the biography of each aircraft designer, showing his projects and drawings. In the zone of aviation installations, we proposed to organize an open museum with art objects on the theme of aircraft construction.

In order to level the risk of car accident, crossings were raised to the level of the sidewalks and paved with slabs. A cycling line has also been laid. Its paving is made of bricks, which in color and texture repeats the masonry of the surrounding buildings. The paving for the entire design area was selected taking into account the surrounding context. The Basis team came to the city specifically with material samples to make sure that the materials were chosen correctly.
